Day 26: A childhood memory

Hmmmmm. Let's see here. One memory was when my Grandpa lived here, he would always take my brother and I to Carvel, an ice cream parlor only up the street from our house. That was fun. He would also take us to the mall and the bowling ally. I haven't seen him in two years, since he moved acorss country, but he's coming to visit.........tonight!!! Though I guess it's actually tomorrow morning since his flight arrival time is 12:30 AM. So maybe he'll take us again. :) I haven't been there since, because mom doesn't like thier ice cream. LOL To me..........ice cream's ice cream. I'll eat any!!! :-)

Day 25: A recipe

Ohhhh. I have lot's of different good recipes. One of my all-time favorite desserts, are cream puffs. :P Mmmmmm

This is just from the Pillsbury cookbook and we just made them for my dad's b-day.

Cream Puffs:

1/2 c water
1/4 c margarine or butter
1/2 c all purpose flour
1/4 t salt
2 eggs

Heat oven to 425. In medium saucepan, heat water and butter to boiling. Stir in flour and salt.
Cook over medium heat, stirring vigorously until mixture leaves sides of pan in compact ball, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add eggs, one at a time, beating until mixture is smooth and glossy. Spoon 6 mounds of dough about 3 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 425 for 30 to 40 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Cool completely.

3.5 ounce vanilla instant pudding mix
1 c heavy cream
1/2 c milk

Blend above ingredients and let set in fridge.

You can either slice the cream puffs and spoon in the pudding OR if you have one of those kitchen caulkers from Pampered Chef that has the Bismarck tip, you can squirt it in.
If you want plenty extra you will have to double up the recipe.

And we drizzle chocolate on them........because that makes 'em so much better. :-)

Day 24: A movie no one would expect you to love

Well, when it comes to movies, I'm not a typical "Pride and Prejudice" girl. I prefer more excitement and adventure. Actually, I like movies with fighting, such as Narnia, Avengers, Lord of the Rings, lol. But a movie my family NEVER expected me to be a fan of is "Pirates of the Caribbean", to be perfectly honest. I saw previews of one of them when I was little and literally vowed never to watch it; It looked so scary! But last July, it was actually my idea to get it, because our little puppy had just died and I knew mom liked the movie and it would make her laugh......so I bought it! Still, I told my family I wouldn't watch it.....but I did. And at first I didn't like it, but toward the end, I did. And the next day, I asked to watch it again.....and again.....and again. :) So I guess it depends on what kind of movie you like, but if you like a lot of action and adventure.....and humor, this is definitely one! :)

And they made four, but the first one is the best. :)

Day 23: A way in which you want to be remembered

I would like to be remembered as a woman who strived to serve her Lord Jesus Christ, with everthing I have (and music, of course.) :-) And just a loving, kind, person who lived life to the fullest and had many wonderful times. :)

Day 22: A website

I love totallymodest.com a lot because they sell gorgeous, modest, dresses. With a special event of mine coming up soon, they are a possibility for a formal gown.

Day 21: Something you know you do differently than most people.

Okay.........I thought about this one for a LONG time. But finally I remembered that I always know about everyone! I know that sounds creepy. LOL In our church there are a lot of really big families. Like 7-12 children. And I have this thing where after knowing a family (big or small) for a very short time, I can remember all the names in order and their ages. Even people that I never met. My friend was telling me one time some interesting facts about these triplets in her school. Then later in that day, she was trying to tell my mom and was forgetting, but I was able to tell everything about them right away. Often my dad gets names confused...(he can NOT keep names straight....lol) but I can always tell him all the different names and what order they go in. I shock my parents with this ability A LOT. And I remember people's middle names and birthdays really well......I guess God just gave me a good memory. :)

Day 20: A hobby of yours

Well, the previous 30 day challenge post was also a hobby of mine.....the video making. But something else I like is photography. Both taking and being in pictures......and putting anything together that has to do with them. You probably know this by now, but I have decided to do just post a bunch of my favorite random pictures...that I've taken. :)

BTW: This does not count as one. :)

Well as you all know Sunday was Easter Sunday. Or as we like to call it Resureaction Sunday. How Wonderful that Jesus died for our sins because he loves us so much! But how even more wonderful that He rose again! I love pictures and posting them so here is how we along with our friends, the Shedds and the Rews, celebrated and fellowshiped with eachother.

                                           ...........and even more!!

Tonight was Mrs. Rew Birthday at our house but we surprised her by decorating the house while my mom took her out. I had lots of fun with the camera.........  :)

                                                       The birthday seat.

She was very surprised to say the least.
