Day 18: A time when you felt passionate and alive

I'd have to say I really felt that way tonight when we came home from the Concerto Concert from Bay Youth Orchestra. The concerto soloists were Eliza Willett, violin, with Concert, Stephen Tang, violin, with Symphony, and the famous, Annika Jenkins, violin, with Symphony. Since I love violin and am very passionate about it, hearing these amazing players inspired me and I would very much like to win a Concerto Competition one day........starting by making it to Concert this coming school year.

Annika Jenkins is one who really inspires me and stands out above the violinists. She drives up to New York to Julliard every Friday for lessons and plays at famous halls there. She composes her own pieces and plays incredibly good. And she's only in eleventh grade! She is definitely a role model musician for me and hearing her play.......in person is a time I feel very passionate!

Are you a homeschooler? Find out!

 Hello, everyone!
If you know me personally or have read my profile, you know I am homeschooled......and LOVE it. A few different friends of mine showed me these videos and I thought they were hilarious and I had to share. I think you will enjoy them as well........especially if you are a homeshooler! :)

P.S. You will probably like them even if you aren't, too. :)

Day 16: A song that makes you cry

Songs never really made me cry, but quite a few years ago, when we were visiting family in Ohio, I rode in the car with our friends. This song came on the radio and Mrs. Kobasky turned it up. "I have to tell you the story behind this song!" she said.
Every time I heard this song afterward I would tear up. I eventually got this song on CD and listened to it constantly. I haven't actually listened to it in a while now, but when I came across day 16, I knew exactly what I was going to put. :)

This is a beautiful song by a Christian singer, Mark Shultz, about........well, you'll have to listen to the song and find out! :) God Bless and Enjoy!

Day 15: A person you admire

Bethany Hamilton is someone I really admired ever since I saw the movie "Soul Surfer."

Bethany Hamilton, and amazing award-winning, Christian, surfer lost her arm after a shark attack on October 31, 2003, age 13.

She was extremely brave after the accident, going right back into the water, to learn how to surf with one arm. I highly recommend the movie, "Soul Surfer." I f you watch the special features with Bethany, you will discover that she wouldn't have taken back the attack. She loves the Lord and has amazing faith!
AnnaSophia Robb who played Bethany in the film was able to meet her in person and become great friends.

So don't forget to watch this incredible true story of Bethany!

Be blessed this day!

Favorite Music

Hello Everyone!
I decided to do a post of some of my current favorite songs that I have stuck in my head. :) I always have new ones that I love, so I will try to do a post about those at least once a month (maybe even once a week!)  :)
