Hairstyle of the day! :)

Hello wonderful viewers!
I wanted to show you this hairstyle I did on my friend yesterday. It looks so great on her red hair. I thought you might want to see. It's actually a lot simpler than it looks. It's just a lace braid over the top of her head, (which you can't see.) Then I just took the braid and went back and forth across her head always taking hair from the top. (A lace braid is adding hair from only one side.) Then I did a basic English braid down her back. You can also pin it up for more of a fancier up-do but we didn't have any bobby pins. :) I did make this hairstyle up, and maybe some time I'll do a tutorial on it, but I did find this similar one, that might be able to help if you want to try this. :)

Blessings,
Rachel

The camera quality may not be great....I took it from my kindle. :)

Day 12: A song that you want played at your wedding

I actually just heard this song on a friend's CD, but as soon as I heard it, I knew this was the one I wanted for the dance. :)

Day 9: A photo you took

This is my favorite picture I ever took. It was in Smokey Mountains 2008 on the side of the road, NOT zoomed in (okay maybe a little. :) There is a baby cub right behind it......he wasn't very photogenic I guess. :)

Day 8: A letter to someone who changed your life

This one I had to think for a while. Of course Jesus Christ. But besides Him, and my wonderful family, I would have to say my music teachers: Julie Rohr and Brad Shedd. If it wasn't for them, I certainly wouldn't be where I am right now. Mrs. Rohr taught me piano since I was about seven.....and still does. Knowing her well all this time had also given me a great opportunity to babysit her adorable 4 year old, Emily. If I had never taken violin with Mr. Shedd, I certainly would not be in the level that I am in Bay Youth Orchestra....actually I probably wouldn't be in it at all, even with another teacher. If I hadn't had lessons with these two wonderful people, my life would be so different! So I'm not great with poetry or tear jerking letters, but I do know that I would say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!
